Agreement

By downloading or using Focus OS, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.

The App

Focus OS is an AI-powered focus timer for iOS. It provides session tracking, gamification (XP, coins, badges, quests), and AI-generated insights for Pro subscribers. The app is available on the Apple App Store.

Accounts

• You must be at least 13 years old to create an account
• You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure
• One account per person — do not share accounts
• You may delete your account at any time from the Profile screen

Subscriptions and Billing

Focus OS offers a free tier and a Pro subscription:

• Free tier — 3 focus sessions per day, basic features
• Pro — Monthly — $4.99/month, billed monthly, 7-day free trial
• Pro — Annual — $29.99/year, billed annually, 7-day free trial

Subscriptions are processed by Apple and managed through your Apple ID. Payment is charged to your Apple ID account upon confirmation of purchase. Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. You can manage and cancel subscriptions in your Apple ID Account Settings.

No refunds are provided for partial subscription periods, except where required by applicable law.

Focus Coins and Virtual Items

Focus Coins, XP, badges, themes, and other virtual items earned in Focus OS have no real-world monetary value and cannot be transferred, sold or exchanged for real money. We reserve the right to modify, suspend or terminate virtual items at any time.

Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Reverse engineer, modify or tamper with the app
• Use automated tools to generate sessions, XP or coins artificially
• Attempt to access other users' accounts or data
• Use the app for any unlawful purpose

AI Features

Focus DNA and AI recommendations are generated by Anthropic's Claude API based on your session data. These insights are for informational purposes only. We do not guarantee their accuracy and they should not be treated as professional medical, psychological or productivity advice.

Availability

We aim to keep Focus OS available at all times but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. We may update, modify or discontinue features at any time. We will give reasonable notice of significant changes.

Intellectual Property

Focus OS, its design, code, name and all associated content are owned by EM Industries. You may not copy, reproduce or distribute any part of the app without written permission.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, EM Industries shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages arising from your use of Focus OS. Our total liability to you shall not exceed the amount you paid for the app in the 12 months prior to the claim.

Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
